Sou uma flor de Sarom, um lírio dos vales. Como um lírio entre os espinhos é a minha amada entre as jovens. Como uma macieira entre as árvores da floresta é o meu amado entre os jovens. Tenho prazer em sentar-me à sua sombra; o seu fruto é doce ao meu paladar. Ele me levou ao salão de banquetes, e o seu estandarte sobre mim é o amor.

I am a rose of Sharon, a lily of the valleys. Like a lily among thorns is my darling among the young women. Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest is my beloved among the young men. I delight to sit in his shade,and his fruit is sweet to my taste. Let him lead me to the banquet hall, and let his banner over me be love.
